The joy of Outlining /6:24 AM
Today I have discovered the joy of outlining a piece of penciled work.
Luanie brought all sorts of inks and quill nibs to outline a piece of work I had penciled, but in the end i ended up outline it myself. There were about four types of inks, which apparently had funny properties of their own. XD

I outlined a picture of a story character of mine (both pictures are from a story I've been at). Outlining is so fun. I should do it as a hobby and maybe one day I'll actually complete the story I've been wanting to draw for so long... (strains eyes far into the future and sees something that vaguely resembles the words: fat hope). Thanks for the quills Luanie (and the bottle of sparkling blackcurrant thingie). I owe you.
Luanie also did the inking (the shading), and it's given the picture such delightful depth. We should do this more often yeah Luanie? I really love the pretty pretty shades you've filled in. Apparently, Luanie did the inking and clean up, and I did the penciling and outlining. I feel like I have learnt so very much today, and I'd love to try my hand at inking too.
So anyways, here's a little picture for my precious daughter Oli, with lots of love from Luanie and I. I found the color turns out best when scanned so...

Sorry for holding onto your manga so long. I will return it asap. T-T
Luanie, you can save the scan from here. It turned out quite nicely.
