Labour Day /9:18 PM

Just in case some of you out there are curious what 'labour day' is all about, I'll take a little time to explain the origins.

Labour day (aka May day) is a day in which people commerate the labour union movement and take time to remember the economic and social achivements. It started because of this 'eight hour day' plan in which everyone should work eight hours, sleep eight hours and have eight hours of play. Some workers in Australia staged this big protest to achive this eight hour day by marching up to the parliment... and they got it! And thus Labour day was inspired from some overworked and probably underpayed workers who caused a hallabaloo infront of a government building.

Whatever it is, I'm glad to have a small rest even if its for just one day. We had a surprise quiz on dental anatomy and I thank God that I did well ^^. So far I've been pretty busy and haven't the time to do much.

I really miss my girlfriends and my girlfriend outings. Somehow, there are a whole lot more of guys in my world and I kind of miss those 'girls only' times. Not that I have anything against boys or the likes of them but I can't really seem to tune into to their frequency. And they don't giggle >.< It's quite sad.

WHAAAAAAA! I MISS OLI AND CHERLIE AND GRACIE AND ANNA AND MELC AND CHERYL LIN!!! (Shar and Luanie are not counted 'cos I see them quite a lot still. Back to my rant.) SOBSOBS! I WANNA GO OUT PLAY TOGETHER SOME TIME! WHERE ARE ALL OF YOU PEOPLE!

Likes: Things/people/creatures/places that are generally non-big, non-violent, non-intrusive and non-loud (if there's such a thing). On top of that I like books, sweets, church, fluffy toys and rainy weather. Erm... I like alot of other things too...
Dislikes: Cockroaches? And the fact that people always give me pink things. (I like blue, green, mauve and white people).
Hobbies: Drawing. Writing. Spending time alone. ^-^
Wishes: I wish someone would write a story for me (fat hope), teach me how to cook, do sudoku, the rubix cube, the magic square and to write with my left hand. I'd like to see the night sky in NewZealand and that Singapore won't sink under the sea.
